| A2: |
DePaul University , in common with all universities, is dedicated to teaching, research, and public service. However, in pursuing its own distinctive purposes, among these three fundamental responsibilities this university places highest priority on programs of instruction and learning. All curricula emphasize skills and attitudes that educate students to be lifelong, independent learners. DePaul provides sufficient diversity in its curricular offerings, and other activities, to serve students who vary in age, ability, experience, and career interests. Full-time and part-time students are accorded equivalent service and are held to the same academic standards.
As a comprehensive university, DePaul offers degree programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels and a range of professional programs. The university maintains that depth of scholarship to offer the doctorate in selected academic disciplines. Libraries, computer resources, and other academic support services match the levels and diversity of degree programs.
Research is supported both for its intrinsic merit and for the practical benefits it offers to faculty, students, and society. Broadly conceived, research at the university entails not only the discovery and dissemination of new knowledge but also the creation and interpretation of artistic works, application of expertise to enduring societal issues, and development of methodologies that improve inquiry, teaching and professional practice.
In meeting its public service responsibility, the university encourages faculty, staff and students to apply specialized expertise in ways that contribute to the societal, economic, cultural and ethical quality of life in the Chicago metropolitan area and beyond. When appropriate, DePaul develops service partnerships with other institutions and agencies.

| Q4: |
Do all the faculty members who are coming to Taiwan to teach have practical experience? |
| A4: |
We believe that to be effective today as a faculty member teaching in an MBA or other graduate business program, one has to have practical business experience. Most DePaul Business Professors have worked in industry, been consultants, trainers or otherwise have practical experience that they utilize to enrich their classroom learning environment. Because the opportunity to teach in this program in Taiwan will appeal to many of our faculty members, we expect that virtually each faculty member selected for this honor will, indeed, have had significant practical experience in her or his field of expertise.

| Q5: |
What is your opinion about the management education market in Taiwan ? |
| A5: |
Taiwan is an outstanding example of stable and continuing increases in interest in management education. Recent data from the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) indicate that over the last five years, Taiwan has risen from fifth to third place in the rankings for Asia examining the number of people that sit for the Graduate Management Admissions Test. The number of test takers in Taiwan rose 26% from 2001 to 2005, and only India and South Korea had higher numbers. Declines were experienced in most Asian markets, including China, Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, and Pakistan. GMAC also reported that Taiwanese citizens strongly prefer graduate business degrees from the United States. Since many strong candidates are unable for various reasons to study within the United States, DePaul believes that there is a strong and growing management education market in Taiwan that we can help serve.

| Q6: |
What kind of change and advantage can DePaul's MBA program bring for Asian executives and in the realm of management? |
| A6: |
We have been delighted with the results achieved by graduates of our MBA offerings in Bahrain, Czech Republic, and Hong Kong. As many as one-third or more of our students have reported a promotion to a higher level of managerial authority within months of completing their DePaul MBA Degree. We would anticipate similar results in Taiwan. Such merit-based promotions should also result in improved managerial practices in Taiwanese business and industry, as these rising executives put into practice at their workplaces the latest ideas in the effective management of enterprise.

| Q7: |
Is it an accredited diploma? |
| A7: |
This is an international famous university; you can verify it in Colleges and Universities List in U.S.A. which was published by Bureau of International Cultural and Educational Relations R.O.C. Besides, according to the rules about the accreditation of foreign diploma, they will only accrediate the diploma of Master Degree if you are out of country over 8 months, Doctor Degree for 16 months, and this rule is for the promotion of officers and teachers, so that if you are one of them, then you are not suitable for this program because of the current law. However, it will be alright if you are working in a normal enterprise or international enterprise. Foreign diploma will only be accredited by the Board of Education in Taiwan if you are a teacher, but if you are not a teacher, your foreign diploma will only be accredited by the enterprise you are working for. For instance, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company or City Bank, they can accredit the diploma by their own rules.
